Neil Kelly Music: A creative music environment for musicians of all ages and experience.

Neil Kelly is a composer and performer with many years experience in teaching, playing and recording music.

He has played bass and guitar with a wide variety of musicians. Highlights include tours as bass player for American legend, Bo Diddley and as founding member of Le Club Foote.

He was a full time lecturer in composition and theory at Latrobe University from 1990-2000 and has taught composition and guitar for about 30 years. He works as composer/musical director of the internationally acclaimed group, Slave Pianos.

His compositions have been played in Australia, the US and Europe by groups including Astra, Chamber Made Opera, The Arditti and Flux String Quartets, Graeme Leak and Michael Kieran Harvey. He is a represented member of the Australian Music Centre

His recording work includes albums and demos with many of Australia's finest musicians and artists. He is a partner at Run Stop Sound.

Neil Kelly Music offers tuition/consultation in contemporary composition, bass guitar, guitar (folk, classical, rock, blues, roots and popular styles), recording and music technology.

The teaching and composing environment is also complemented by a home recording studio. Recording of original work and CD production is encouraged.

Tuition/supervision, consultation and mentoring is available at reasonable rates and incorporates a broad approach to the music experience.
